Is Rumpl legit?
Short answer: yes, Rumpl is a real store, and our score is 4.1 out of 5. The main caveat: not fully waterproof.
It sells outdoor blankets, sleeping bags, pillows, towels and custom blankets through its own website, rumpl.com. Public ratings: Trustpilot (rumpl.com) 2.9 (2). Returns: Returns within 60 days of purchase; exchanges for color, size, damage or gifts.
Our take: a legitimate brand worth considering.
Quality
CleverHiker's test ranked the Original Puffy third-warmest of the blankets it tried, and it shed moisture and debris well. TravelFreak notes it has a water-repellent coating but isn't fully waterproof. Rumpl's two Trustpilot reviews are about orders, not the blankets.
Price and value
Blankets cost about $60 to $250, and towels were 25% off when we checked.
Shipping and returns
Orders ship within one to three business days. Returns are accepted within 60 days of purchase, with exchanges for color, size, damage or gifts.
Customer service
There are too few public reviews to judge service; one reviewer got a partial refund for out-of-stock items without clear details.
